My work got published!

My recreation of a folio from the Ludwig Psalter was published in the Fifth Edition (2024-2025) of Dies Legibiles, An Undergraduate Journal of Medieval Studies. Check out the entire issue, or the publication on this website.

“Orthodoxy in Russia” Event

In March of 2025 I was able to organize an educational event at St. Olaf College, Minnesota, in partnership with the Russian Department and the Lutheran Centre. Together with Father Paul (Hodge), a graduate of the neighboring Carleton College, we served an akathist in the college chapel that was open to anyone wishing to participate or simply to observe. We served in a mixture of English and Church Slavonic, with the students being given brochures to follow along. He then led an introductory talk about Orthodoxy and answered the students’ questions. For many this was the first Orthodox service that they had ever witnessed, and therefore the goal of this event was to give the students, especially those studying Russia, a insider’s introduction to this religious tradition.
